Did Jesus have a beard?
You think he ever bathed? Just because Jesus is pictured in one verse dressed a certain way is not a reason to assume that is how he always appeared
Maybe we need to all wear towels
Joh 13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and went to God,
Joh 13:4 He rose up from supper and laid aside His garments. And He took a towel and girded Himself.
Joh 13:5 After that He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.

hey no big words mister big stuff!
Anyways, It's not the point of what he wore but how he wore it. down as in completely convered.
For the record, I'm not saying the scriptures supports no shorts, just bringing it out for discussion. I believe most evrything in the bible is for a reason. there has to be a reason it points out he wore it to his feet.

Yes we know that was the point. Our point is you are being obviously selective there....Jesus also wore a towel. He had a beard. He rode on a horse...you don't know that this is the ONLY way Jesus ever dressed. If someone can take one verse and show something Jesus did and insist that is how it should be for all of us at all times, then we need to stop wearing pants and wear robes...stop driving cars and ride horses etc etc...you really don't see how that is logically fallacious?
Why did John point out Jesus put on a towel?

There has to be a reason for the golden girdle too.

Come on, lol. BTW do we really need this verse to support dressing modestly?

Yup, there you have it folks..if you want to be modest put on a coat and jump into the sea
