"while you will have lovely gifts to show off to the world, we will be making memories. You may get an iPod or a toaster, but I will get to gloat over winning a board game. You may receive a bottle of perfume, but I will be getting my toenails painted by my baby girl...

And I will be happy to trade the presents under the tree for the "presence "of my children."
