Why did John point out Jesus put on a towel?
The colt Jesus came into town on was never rode by anyone before him, so in essence it was brand new, so if His earthly ministry was happening today instead of 2000 yrs. ago, would He go into Jerusalem in a brand new Mustang?

Yet, Jesus shows up clothed to foot. It is so remarkable that John recorded it. Why?
Maybe he realized that it was important enough for God to show up fully clothed even though no one else was going to see it that he noted it as worthy of mentioning.

Um, wasn't Peter nekked when he jumped out of the boat to see Jesus? The Lord didn't rebuke him for being nekked, did He? It's mentioned in the Bible so it has to mean something.

True, but Peter also donned his clothing immediately when he realized that it was Jesus.
Sounds like conviction to me.

Ok. So the moral of the story is it's ok to be nekked, unless in the presence of Jesus?

(Yes, I am giving you a hard time. )

Jesus is picture with a garment down to his feet, could this be used to teach against shorts?

I've also read where because the priest only showed his feet.hands and face when going into the holy place, we should to only show that much.

whta thinketh thou?
I thinketh that if one tries to bend verses like these to prove some western dress issue--it only proves that they don't know how to properly interpret and apply scripture.

I heard it was.

Here he comes, boogie-dy, boogie-dy
There he goes, boogie-dy, boogie-dy
And he ain't wearin' no clothes
Oh yes, they call him the streak
Fastest thing on two feet
He's just as proud as he can be
Of his anatomy
He's gonna give us a peek
Oh yes, they call him the streak
He likes to show off his physique
If there's an audience to be found
He'll be streakin' around
Invitin' public critique...
