Im all for some sort of reform that lowers the cost of prescription drugs and straightens out these insurance companies.

Some of the things that bothers me is, certain states got perks that no other state will get as part of a bribe to their congressman to vote for the bill and

It criminalizes not having insurance.

That first one alone is enough to tell me there is something messed up with this bill when they have to bribe politicians who would not vote yes

NOW's been kinda naughty lately. I fear he might be backsliding. NOW could never mean something so mean TIC...after all when someone jokes TIC about Nancy Pelosi and says "It's just a joke", that is never a good enough excuse in NOW's book

Oh, the other problem I have is...the economy...NOT NOW. Those talking heads need to fix the economy. Fix the economy and get more people working will help people get healthcare too. However it's absurd to even discuss universal healthcare when the economy is so screwed up and the National debt is so high

Of course "they" don't need to "fix" the economy. All they need to do is get out of the way and let it fix itself. Of course that will not happen since admitting that the free market and the American people is THE economy is to give up a LOT of power.
