I don't think anyone believes that. I think we look for the best, hope for the best, vote for what appears to stand for the greater good. Sometimes we are sorely disappointed after the vote.

The Bible says that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. I believe that this is generally true of human nature but not with politicians. I'm to the point that I need politicians to speak with their actions and decisions.
