Those that prohibit shorts need to also prohibit short sleeves. At least be consistent.

Jesus is picture with a garment down to his feet, could this be used to teach against shorts?
I've also read where because the priest only showed his feet.hands and face when going into the holy place, we should to only show that much.
whta thinketh thou?

Me thinketh sometimes people look into scripture waaayyyy too much and try to find something that's not there to help back their belief against something.

Rico, you don't disturb me and I appreciate the question.
Peter, when he realized that Jesus was present got dressed. He just didn't know He was there.
If Jesus is God Almighty as we believe, then He is also omnipresent. With that in mind, your question can be answered in the sense that He is already here. We must be properly clothed.
Someone posted that it is stretching scripture and those who do those don't know how to interpret it. Well, this is a personal conviction of mine.
Someone else posted to wear long sleeves to be consistenet. I do. Again, this is personal to me.

Er...there is one slight problem with your logic...if we must be fully clothed in God's presence, and God is omnipresent (e.g., everywhere), then that means we must be fully clothed even in the shower or in the bedroom.
