You are confused.

Count the numbers I listed above -- there are 11 of them......so no matter what - - it's been 10 years.

Just as AQP said - - when you turn one you aren't just starting your first year - - you have lived a year and the day after you first birthday you are starting on your second year.

Re: So we're about to head into 2010

I posted already, but what changed me the most was September 11, 2001. I remember in the early footage, seeing a man in a business suit jumping from the building. My heart skipped a beat, to think that he would jump and go out in God's hands and not at the hands of the terrorist! We should never forget, or it will happen again when we least expect it!

Re: So we're about to head into 2010

Oh, Neck, I agree. When that man jumped out of the window, my heart skipped a beat too. I'll never forget it either.

Over the last 10 years, I:
1. Received the wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost.
2. Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and suffered greatly until I started treatment.
3. Lost my father. He had COPD, and didn't survive surgery for a ruptured bowel. His last waking hours were in anger at me because he had a tube down his throat.
4. Found myself backslid.
5. Found my way back to God.
6. Took care of my mother through her six surgeries in 5 years.
7. Watched one of my closest friends become addicted to narcotics. I'll never give up on her. Still praying for her.
8. Received two significant raises at work. I make enough that I'm now able to actually save some money after I pay all my bills. I was pretty poor before.

This is my first post. I just joined today. I'll try to add an introduction soon.

Timmy said, "3. Transitioned from Pentecostal Christian, through stages, to agnostic with deist leanings."

What has happened?
