Are you Giving to Haiti Relief Efforts?

Tell us through who and how you are contributing.

If you are not - tell us why please.

Re: Are you Giving to Haiti Relief Efforts?

We're sending money to Rhema International, who have had 3 medical centers in Haiti since 1980. Sis. Patricia Beall Gruits and her late husband started them and she and her children continue to run them. They're out of Rochester, Michigan. Her son was in Haiti and flew out four hours before the quake. His hotel was completely flattened.

Re: Are you Giving to Haiti Relief Efforts?

We have donated money to UNICEF and to Doctors Without Borders. My sister-in law has been a volunteer with Doctors Without Borders for many years and we have supported their organization for several years now.

Re: Are you Giving to Haiti Relief Efforts?

Absolutely.

We're giving through World Vision, led by Rich Stearns. This is a group that Bill Hybels and Willow Creek Community Church works with and supports.

And the "Through taxes" comment wouldn't be funny even if it were a joke.
