I was reading back over past comments after I posted and wanted to update on what stmatthew said. Our church does uphold the holiness standards. We believe that it is not what you wear that saves you but what is in your heart that does. The Pharisees certainly followed the law to a strict standard but never really had a relationship with God. We do not aspire to be of the Pharisee persuasion but rather lovers of Jesus. God does the convicting and we do the loving. If we truly are seeking after righteousness we shall be filled based on scripture. New Life allows this process to take place in a non judgmental environment.
