I had some flavor they served at church when promoting the daniel's fast. I did not like it at all. Maybe it was just the flavor, but blech...

Look at your Target or grocery store and see if they sell Sabra's. Try it with raw veggies (if you like those). If you still don't like it, then you really don't like it.

well, I love raw vegi's and eat them often, so I will look next time I'm there. I will try anything twice, maybe it was just the flavor served. They had a lot of things from Trader Joe's that night, so who knows what flavor it was, it was a carmel color...and I didn't know what was in it, so that made it worse. I googled it and it said chickpeas a few min ago, so I sighed with a little relief.

Yes, I frequently make my own. It's chickpeas, a little oil - usually olive - and whatever spices you want to put in it.

Sometimes I just crave good old fashioned grease. When I do, I go to Long John Silver's. Anything you get there must come with a pound of crisco, guaranteed. But it tastes so good when you are craving it. It's only later that you ask, oh, why did I do that?

So do I! I like almost everything there and find it fascinating that there bread sticks are 10 times better then the Olive Gardens (a place I also love but cannot figure out why people swoon over their breadsticks..... bland!)

Whenever we eat at local Mexican restaurants (which is weekly at least!), I always have them replace the beans with rice or corn cake. They've never given me any argument about that no matter where we've been.

I HATE those canned ravioli, spaghetti and other stuff. But my boys LOVE them. Even the smell is nauseating!

I have made the canned ravioli somewhat palatable (just barely) by mixing in a handful of shredded cheese and a few drops of Dave's Insanity sauce.

Yeah, I agree, not the best. I have to order a side of alfredo sauce for dipping if I'm going to eat their breadsticks.

I went to stay with a cousin last night, and she brought out some Hummus... and asked me if I liked it. So... told her that I needed to taste it again. I tried two kinds, a red pepper flavor and garlic... I liked both of them.. really good actually, and she sent me home with two containers of it for myself.
I must have eaten plain with no flavoring, and not knowing what it was, gagged....
I ate it with crackers, probably wouldn't see me eating it w/vegi's.
