Not too long ago, one of the regular lady members of the Bill Gaither Homecoming series told me the whole world could look at me and tell I was a Christian, but they couldn't look at her and tell she was.
Shook hands with Roy Clark at the Houston Live Stock show and rodeo, must of been 1969 or 70.
Was standing access watch at the tactical systems training facility on the Submarine base in Groton and signed in the then teen-aged Crown Prince Frederick of Denmark during his tour of the base. He seemed relly bored.

I heard Little Hal Kennedy sing in person at a tent revival back in the 60's. My mother bought a song book they had for sale and he signed it for me. (the only autograph I have of anyone LOL)......Can't remember who was preaching though, but, hey, I was only 9. I know my little nephew was with us and he kept asking for popcorn....I think he thought we were at the circus! lol
Also heard Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs in the 60's too. Man could they ever play. My parents loved those guys, and we did get to shake their hands.
Well, I am right now sitting at my desk and Randy Johnson (the pitcher) is about 50 feet away -through a couple of walls, watching his kids sing in our school library.
