Don't you mean "moral" disagreements or do you mean "social" and "moral" disagreements?

Social as in social issues. Fiscally he appears very conservative. On social issues however, he is more liberal than I would like. I disagree with some of his stances on social issues, whoch no doubt are rooted in his version of morals.

Here's a link to what I found on Newsbusters.org. Apparently Brown voted against a bill that would retroactively pay leave of absence for Red Cross workers participating in RC emergencies and disaster relief.
Here's a quote:

Light wasn't incorrect about the vote or bill. Not sure about the allegation that during this Brown was pushing for the construction of a golf course though.

Thanks n_david, that does shed some "light" on Light's hallucination. But he is still incorrect and the attempt to tie the state worker's leave to "Clean Up for 9/11" is inaccurate. It's obviously intended to inflame without informing.
The question Brown faced was essentially whether or not the state of Massachusetts should pay for the volunteer work that its employees engage in. Some one obviously thought they should. So, to avoid any claims of arbitrary treatment, someone else could argue that the state should pay for all volunteer work being done by its employees. In the end, it is no longer volunteer work - but state aid that the employees are doing.
And after all that, we must still ask Light just what heavy lifting the Red Cross did at Ground Zero to aid in the "clean up." I don't recall seeing any Red Cross people cleaning up anything, though I'm certain they assisted with emergency housing issues and such just like they do in every emergency.
Still, to say Scott Brown "voted against 9/11 clean up" is a ridiculous accusation.

Brown will be a political commentator on Fox soon.
You know, fair and balanced Fox News.

As an elected official, that's not going to happen. No chance.

I would look for Evan Bayh to get to his more fiscally conservative roots with the Scott Brown wake up call.
since I like Mike Pence, I might have to contact IRSC and go back to campaigning again.

Foreverblessed,
Here are some comments that I received about Bayh:
Quote:
I am sure that there are many folks who are very loyal to Bayh and his family and he obviously has a lot of money and has the potential to raise a lot of money but I do not believe that Bayh represents the majority of people in Indiana and here is the big change from before....THEY KNOW IT NOW and perhaps more importantly THEY CARE ABOUT IT.
There is a big difference between "then" (Bayh's Governor times) and "now" (Bayh's Obama times) and that is the people here in Indiana are fed up with Bayh and his being sold out to Obama and a very liberal DC agenda. And the great thing...it is on the record, i.e. his voting record. Bayh can have a "gallows conversion" all he wants but it is too late!! He already voted for bailouts and healthcare.... See More
I don't know about you **** but the folks I know are just waiting for someone like Mike Pence, who has integrity and actually cares about them, this State and this Country, to come along and challenge Bayh. That Mike has national name recognition will only make it easier for him. Scott Brown raised over 1 million in one day, imagine what Mike could do. And as far as the comment "unless the current political situations impacts it [the senate race]"...I would say that someone is a little out of touch with what is really going on in folks minds. For heaven's sake...Mass. just elected a conservative to Ted Kennedy's seat. Times are changing.

I will second what **** said. I have lived in IN only one year and I am ready to vote Bayh out on the basis of his votes in the past 14 months. He is "blue dog" while talking to the press, but on board with the liberal agenda behind closed doors. He has NOT spoken out against the outrageous spending near enough to appease the people.

To the ladies here, I have lived in Indiana my entire life Bayh ran the state of Indiana nearly into the ground while sitting as Governor. Then his predecessor came in and went even deeper. Thank God for Mitch for trying to get us out of the mess we were in. As for Pence I think he should put his hat in the ring for that Senate seat. That will get him even closer to the Presidency!!!

As for Brown...I don't live in Massachusetts, I didn't vote for him, and I didn't bother to learn anything about him. I am glad a Republican won, generally speaking, just because it upsets the apple cart in Congress.
