Let me add quickly here that I don't have the time - at the moment - to engage in a lengthy debate regarding tithing. The next couple of weeks will be very busy for me as we move from where we are to Sugar Land where we are starting a Home Missions church. I work a full time job and then have other responsibilities when I get home, so I don't really have the luxury of a full out debate.
However, in a few weeks I would love to approach this subject again. I do think the one-on-one debate is a neat feature and could lend itself to productive dialouge. At the moment though I honestly just don't have the time to spend, and I do believe the emotion of it all is running high right now.
