I read the posts twice.
Didn't see any DKB bashing.
That's what I was questioning.

There goes the tea all over my MacBook Pro screen!!!!! LOL
When I was originally ordained in the UPC, Huss Shearer was the Dist. Supt. I distinctly remember, and still have it, being given a towel with my name embroidered on it as a symbol of my calling. I've never forgotten that and it is what I preach and teach about leadership.
It really disturbs me when I see HUGE chairs on platforms, HUGE pictures of the pastor in the church and the church being Bro. so and so's church and it becoming a family business etc. Not saying that DKB, sees it that way, but I do see a disturbing trend in UPC and like churches where the pastor is anything but a servant and is more like a King than anything else. Certainly not all, and I'm not trying to paint with a broad brush, but I've seen far too much it where the people are expected to serve the pastor instead of the other way around,

I know what you were asking. I just changed the subject as I'm not going to argue with you. I posted what I observed.

This thread is about DKB's Inauguration. It isn't about the UPCI or opinions about DKB or pictures in foyers or chairs on platforms. Puleeze!

I can't! Only if VY is singing or something like that. Other than that, I can't deal with it.

PO - I don't take it as a "bash DKB" thread as much as several formers making "bash UPC" posts.
I think Blubayou started this thread with a sincere question and desire to watch the service. I watched Bishop Haney's installation service and it was very moving.
Daniel - yes, installation would be the correct term.
