Funny thing, Palin claims to read "all of 'em," newspapers, yet must have missed all the news about these folks wanting more investigations, etc. I read this, for crying out loud and you're telling me that a possible VP of the US didn't know this?
Ignorance is no excuse ... but clearly it's been Palin's m.o.

So, do they vet all the people in rally lines?
If she knew, then she was clearly trying to get down the line and answered him in order to end the conversation.
He still didn't ask her if she believed the government was behind 9-11? He never asked that. Asking about an investigation and then going into the air quality, doesn't sound like he is looking at a conspiracy theory.

This was an interview. It was her word being put on the record.
Good grief, and this woman was to be the VP and may run for Prez?
I know you like her, but c'mon, there are some things just to be expected.
Knowing who you're speaking on the record with is one of those things ... as is knowing the subject and matter at hand.

I don't want her to run for President, but yes, I do like her pretty well.
I asked you if they vet the people on the rally line? It's not clear to me whether she knew who she was talking to. Also, if I was on the campaign trail, I would very likely dismiss an antagonist with the clearest route out of the conversation. I've done that with trouble makers at church. LOL! I just don't see the difference.
So, do they vet the people on a rally line? Do you know for sure that someone told her who this guy was? It's not clear to me. I would need to know that.
I find it hard to believe that if they did vet the guy, that they would put him on the front line for the camera to pick up the conversation. The whole thing is suspect.
It is totally different than him asking, "Do you think the government killed all those people on purpose?"
He asked her, "Will you support the victim's family members and first responders of 9/11 that are calling for a new investigation?"
No matter who he is affiliated with, he elaborated, after the initial question, on the "air quality" and not on a government conspiracy. That makes me think the whole video clip presented by Prison Planet is suspect.
There are a lot of questions posed by victim's families and they don't all involve government conspiracy. Much of it includes monetary compensation.
I think you are reading more into this clip than is there. Medina was asked a point blank question. No doubts on that score. The question asked Palin was subjective, IMO.

Are you saying you expect every candidate to know everything there is to know about everything?

No. But c'mon ... 9/11 and the demand for more investigations!? These were front page headlines for a long time. If she really "reads all of 'em," then she had to know about it. This wasn't some obscure news item or question ... this is one of the things a person running for Prez or selected as VP should know.
It's hypocrisy to give Palin a pass and not Medina.
BTW, early voting begins today in TX. Who are you Texans voting for?

Right now I am still leaning towards Medina. And early voting has been going on longer than yesterday.
I really didn't think there was any serious questions about the 9/11 event. I tried to look up why or what the deal was yesterday. I don't know that they are saying the government is behind it, but some or perhsps many believe there was explosive devices in the building in addition to the planes hitting the building.
When I have time I will have to research more on what or why they think that.

There were questions as to alleged "explosions" that brought the towers down and not the planes or fire from the fuel. Also questions about the plane that hit the pentegon - people think it was a missle and not a plane because there wasn't anything left of it.
I believe Popular Mechanic did a whole mag on the conspiracies and proved them wrong.

Here's one place - http://www.truthaction.org/
And another - http://www.911truth.org
I'm sure there are many, many more.
I have an excellent article on it but it's too long to post.
There is one group of over 1000 scientists that are demanding a new investigation.
