There are still laws on the books that prohibit foreign donations.
A number of Republicans and Democrats, notably the Clintons, received illegal campaign donations which had to be returned. I believe BHO himself received some as well.
Yes, the law should be tightened and the loopholes should be dealt with, but the SCOTUS ruling allows for future debate/limits on foreign donations.
If the truth were told, the polls numbers would be very different. Unfortunately the President and other Democrats have lied about it and used fear of foreign involvement to skew public opinion.

If you read the article, you would see that our collective disdain has nothing to do with politcal parties.
There are just as many Republicans upset about this as Independents and Democrats.
It would do you all good to actually read the article.
