I am thinking of writing a book entitled - "Confessions of a Former Cult Leader"! I bet most of you would buy the book to see who is in it and if YOUR name is mentioned! LOL

My opinion of BH theology is well know and I am not going to rehearse that - but he does have a family. I do believe that HE believes with all his heart that what he teaches and preaches is TRUTH! I do not agree with him. I don't think he purposely deceives but I do know SOME MEN that do it on purpose and then laugh about how gullible people are and then threaten to ruin those who don't lie for and with them!
You don't have to judge BH - God will take care of that!
I will say that people are genuinely healed and miracles do take place in his meetings.
I have taught this for years - "Anywhere God finds FAITH - He works Miracles"! It does not confirm a MAN or a MINISTRY when Miracles take place - but the Word of God will be confirmed - no matter what vessel preaches it!

AB, YES, please publish it! And I could care less what names you publish. Actually, I changed my mind. I'm not sure of your theology either. Maybe it's best you sit at someone's feet and not right your memoir just yet.

Everything is a matter of "I don't agree with him but he loves Jesus." Where's some apostolic boldness to confront apostasy and call it out. We aren't called to 'judge' him but certainly to discern between false teachers --- and to make that public!!!!!

Probably one in the book would be the preacher you spent the night outside the motel room where he and a "lady" spent some quality time together.

No, don't publish it. Deal with it in the church, among the believers. Don't pervert His name on a bookstand in the hands of unbelievers. That's not the order of the church to deal with heresy.

The difference between Pastor Benny's spending and mine/yours is many zeros at the end of the price tag

***disclaimer*** I don't agree with BG theology BUT I do 100% believe in the power of faith. The man knows how to create an atmosphere of faith where people believe they're going to get healed. The man takes LESS time to pick up an offering than in any service at General Conference. They spend two or three hours singing and worshipping....when faith is at it's peak, the healings start.
AGAIN....JUST BECAUSE I SAID THAT DOESN"T MEAN I AGREE WITH BH ON EVERYTHING ELSE.

I think you're being a little unfair here, and I'm not a Hinn fan. But I've heard this same thing said about lots of people, even like Nona Freeman - that she touched lots of people's lives. That's not a bad statement.

I'm not randomly applying that statement. I'm being specific with Hinn, and others whose ministry points more to them, than it does to Jesus. The supernatural was never used to make special prophets of people in the NT- it was to edify and ultimately to point to Jesus. Additionally, Hinn preaches a false gospel that ignores suffering as a glory, and poverty as treasure.

The throngs of crowds that gather for a miracle (I've watched his program many times) are there to see a "show" or sincerely be part of some supernatural experience... but missing often, is the crucified Savior. It actually saddens me more than it maddens me.
