Is there no place for emotionalism?

Re: Holy Ghost Enema
In moderation with shamefacedness and sobriety.
I have seen preachers get this carried away. It becomes theatrical.

Re: Holy Ghost Enema
Pentecost has struggled with this since the days of Parham and Seymour. Was reading how Parham reacted to the holy rolling, dog barking, and horse whinneying that Parham reacted to negatively when he visited Seymour at the mission on Azusa. Seymour reciprocated by shutting Parham out.

Re: Holy Ghost Enema
Wow, I regret not watching this earlier.
This was just weird. Weirdest though is how many times I've seen almost the exact same thing in an OP environment. Not the same words, but very similar terminologies. Things said that aren't normally discussed in polite company, harsh words used for the purpose of "waking people up" breathlessness, repeated words, things strung together that really have little to do with each other.

There is a difference between positive emotionalism and weirdness. Some emotions are best kept private. When someone is preaching they should stick to the Bible, and shouldn't say things in anger that they won't want to apologize for or should be embarrassed about later.

I think I read in my Dake Bible where Finis Dake said that the trinity was made up of three separate persons and that each person has his own spirit, soul, and body. I just looked for that note but couldn't find it so I can't give the page reference. Finis Dake was an Assembly of God Bible teacher and his Bible or other writings may have influenced Benny Hinn's perception of God.
