I saw Fat Elvis in concert in Shreveport La. in 1975. I had never bought an Elvis record but he was a living legend and I knew from all of the newspaper reports that he was not long for this world so I wanted to see him.

Despite his girth and with enough pharmeceuticals in his system to make remembering a few lyrics difficult, he gave an amazing concert that in particular pleased the thousands of girls there from the ages of 8 to 80 (probably older).

Sorry to admit, my wife is one of them???? She even loved his movies, awww man. I guess I should pull out my old Farrah Fawcett poster circa 1978, he he (J/K!!!!!!)
