She IS talented! Thiis same woman who is being ridiculed also wrote the lyrics to the song, "Didnt I Walk On The Water". IMO....It is a BEAUTIFUL song!!

Are people saying she's horrible? It seems like people are laughing at all the carrying on that goes with the singing. And from my experience in that culture, people like her are proud of that. If someone laughs, it's just another feather in their cap.

Earlier in this thread, someone mentioned that videos of her were passed around quite some time ago, and it appears she's still at it. Doesn't seem like she's effected by the giggles.

But maybe you're right. Maybe she should log on and tell us what she thinks!

For the record, though (that's always a funny statement....like someone reading this is keeping a record of what I say), I'm not laughing, mocking, giggling, or making fun of her. I just don't like it. I think this kind of buffoonery contributes to the driving away of people who need the grace of Jesus Christ.

I don't personally care for that type of church myself, but yes, it did seem to me that the purpose for people posting the video was to say how awful it was. Not just the worship, but the singing, too.

It's all in the perception, I guess.

I suppose. I haven't seen the Facebook posting, but I didn't get the impression that StMark was making fun. From the title of the thread, I honestly thought he might be trying to find out who she was so he could use her on something. She actually is a good singer...for that kind of thing. And the live recordings (not the Youtube stuff, but the studio-quality recordings) are well done.....again, for that kind of thing. I can see her doing well with the high quality of music that StMark does, although I'm guessing he'd tell her to leave the cymbals at home!

Anyway, I would never make fun of her singing even if it was awful. That's not cool.
