Re: Mexican Resort?

Glad you had a good time! We've just begin our vacations to various Latin and Caribbean islands. Our first was Jamaica last Summer and the Dominican Republic this time around. We REALLY like the all inclusive part of it all.
Let us know if you'd like to meet for an island adventure (from the comfort of a nice resort) sometime!

Jamaica was nice though we were only there a few hrs. - long enough to eat some fresh coconut and buy some Blue Mountain Coffee beans.

We likely would not recognize each other... people look different with clothes on.

Probably not. All my shirts have a bit of padding sown in them to simulate a small gut. Without a shirt, my 6 packs literally glisten in the Sun (and my stomach does as well).

ROFLOL!!!

By the way, go to Aruba. It's the best Caribbean island. We've been there four times, and that's where our daughter got married. It's the safest island in the Caribbean - you can walk around any time of day or night and feel secure. Fabulous restaurants!!

We also love St. Thomas - we are planning another trip back there soon. It's a really fun place - great beaches and wonderful shopping and eating.

We were looking at several resorts in St Thomas and we plan on going there next year, but they were all on the pricey side. We also checked the Atlantis resort, but those prices were just insane!

Re: Mexican Resort?

For some reason...in the back of my mind...I thought I remembered that your daughter married in California. Thanks for the advice about Aruba. How wonderful that you have apparently visited most if not all the Caribbean islands. After the Alabama teen that went missing in Aruba and seeing how their government responded to that I just decided that I would not help support that country with my visits. I do agree with you about St Thomas...what a special island with lovely people.

Aren't you the poster that has an issue with Sherri?

In the back of my mind, I remember you commenting on the Aruba wedding.

She had a legal wedding at the courhouse in CA in May of 2008 and then a beach religious ceremony in August of that year. Her dad did the second ceremony.

The reason I've been to several of the islands is from cruising and stopping at several of the islands. The only ones we've stayed on for more than a day are St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and Aruba.

Also, concerning Natalie Holloway, I think there are always two sides to every story. I followed it pretty closely and read her mom's book. But I still love Aruba. We have been there four times and I would go back the next time I find free flights.

To answer your question...I have no issue with Sherri. I simply made an observation and it seems I was correct. So what is the big deal ... really?!
I really do not remember making a comment about the "Aruba wedding" but so what if I did? I really am not trying to get into a question/answer with you...I just do not get what your biggest problem is.
Sherri addressed my post. She did not seem to take offense with it. I guess this is just an ongoing problem with forums....things can be taken totally out of context and judgments can be made because you neither know someone or know their spirit.
