Good story.
I often (OK, once in a rare while) take out my frustrations and troubles on two different things: Our dogs and my computer. When I take it out on the dogs, they give me sad eyes and almost immediately forgive me for yelling at them and actually want to help in their own dog-sense ways. When I attack my computer, it beeps, yells, and stops working.... and keeps "not working" until I repair it.
