Re: Hate to say I was born in TX with this going o

I don't hate to say I was born in Texas. This doesn't have a thing to do with being
born in Texas. I have lived in Texas all of my three-score and ten years. I have seen
those who did not live righteous lives. There are those that do and there are those
that don't. And if we have lived right or righteous lives, it is His Righteousness in us.
God said "their righteousness is of me". We have none within ourselves. But with HIS
RIGHTEOUNESS in us, we can live right. God made man to walk upright. Many don't like
to walk upright. They will turn what God had set in place and turn it upside down to
please their own carnal selves. And to those who know to do good and doeth it not, to
him it is sin. Those who know what is right should be walking upright.

This is not directed to any one person. Just some thoughts.

The world is becoming so boldly corrupt.

Good post.

I was born in Texas also, and this isn't just a Texas thing. There are things like this all over.

I like that the Muslims are upset over the writing of the play.

Yeah, it's gotta be something to actually get a fatwa put out against your life without even mentioning the Prophet. That playwright really out did himself.

The whole thing seems so lame and contrived. "Pontius Pilate High School?" "Jesus" and "Judas" at the prom? And we're supposed to be swayed by the appeal that this is a "serious work of art?"

Gimme a break. The thing was written to provoke a riot. Anything less and the playwright would have sulked for months before getting a new perm and attempting to insult someone else.
