I remember reading somewhere that when someone got on Spurgeon for smoking he said something like, "Well, if i ever get to the place where I think I'm smoking too much, I will quit." When the person pressed him as to how he would determine if he was smoking too much, he responded with something like, "When I find myself smoking more than one cigar at a time."
