I have before. I currently do not, because there are none in my workplace, but if there were, I would fellowship with them. The Bible doesn't forbid it, as far as I can tell.

I do. Justified? Why would I need to feel justified about loving the same people God loves and spending time with them when He wants to spend time with them so desperately?

Sam...I know of not ONE scripture that condemns interracial marriages. Not one. If you know one, please let me know what it is. However...
...the bible has many scriptures condemning homosexuality.
I think some minds are truly being 'seared with a hot iron'. Living for God seems to be a joke to some people...even those who at one time had the Holy Ghost.
My son informed me this morning that today was "Gay Rights Awareness Day" at school. The "gay wads" (his words) were going around with tape over their mouths to symbolize something.
It took a bit of questioning before I was assured that this was definately NOT a school sponsored event; otherwise I'd be on the phone right now.
I've come to the realization that people will live their lives in ways that they are persuaded make the most sense. Often times, these same ways won't make any sense to me. As long as they can behave like ladies and gentlemen and refrain from aggresively recruiting acolytes to their cause, then I say, "Whatever!"
For those close to me or those who are so completely bored that that they might even listen to me I would challenge them on their decisions to "be gay." And, this is a decision. I choose how I express myself with my "partner" (my wife of almost 30 years). I chose how I behaved before I was married. I'm no "Superman;" yet I managed to find my way through an overly sexed society with my integrity intact.
Jennifer and others can find their way as well. I am saddened by her choices, but her choices don't really affect me or mine in any way. So, I wish her well and hope that she can find some happiness in this often painful world.
would it be ok if the rest of us went around with tape over our ears so we didnt have to "hear" their silence?
