Heck, in the eyes of many, black and white, Healthcare Reform was all about helping the middle class and the poor, but who stood against it (generally speaking)?
Outside of Steele, what was the race of the talking heads speaking against reform but perceived as not giving any other viable solution?
Everyone poor American citizen has already seen a variety of Democrats who look like them, who favor positions that favor them, and take the time to SHOW compassion for them. Many American minorites, (including many blacks) look at the Democrats with pride and at the GOP with disgust because of a earned perception-- earned, not necessarily deserved, but definitely earned.
This is part of what I was alluding to, but this is not the reason I started this thread.
