I hate it when the pills prescribed by the doctor has the following instruction.... "Take 1 tablet, by mouth!" Where did he think I was going to put it?

Reminds me of an old story.

A red neck was given some sample medication (suppositories) by his doctor but with no instructions on how to use it except "as needed."

When he returned, he was very unhappy. The doctor asked him if the medication worked.

He said "NO" very emphatically. Then went on, "That medicine tasted awful. and it didn't do me a bit of good. I might just as well have stuck it......"

Are suppositories considered a pill in any way?

"What is a suppository? A rectal suppository (or 'rectal rocket' some have dubbed them) is a special pill....." yada, yada......
