Felicity wore a long straight black skirt with a sewn down side slit, v-necked button down dressy top fitted at the waist and LONG sleeves with the cuffs turned back .... and black hose and black slingback heels. 
And hair was twisted up and clipped with the ends out - not in a bun - my hair's not quite long enough for that yet. 
I think Thad would have approved.
