Would a couple be sinning if they pretended to be King David and one of his new concubines?
King David had 8 wives and 10 concubines by the way. God stated that he gave David his wives and concubines. David's only sin of this nature was his adultery with Bathsheba. Who by the way became the first lady of Israel and the mother of Solomon.
I do agree... some games are over the top if they involve pain or prostitution. But some games are permissible and should be kept between spouses.

I can respect that. But do you think it's a "sin" that endangers the human soul if a couple finds their love more adventurous than you do?
Many a wife has surprised her husband with a French Maid outfit to rekindle lost intimacy. The marriage bed is like "Eden"... be innocent and play like children, reveling in one another's love and passion. Did they "sin"?

Is it sin to be with a french maid? Yes!
Then would it be sin to lust after one? Yes!
Would it be sin to fantasize about being with a french maid? Yes
Would it be sin to act out the fantasy? YES!
Maybe men need a class on contentment on what God has provided.

What makes them over the top? Why is bondage ok, but pain isn't?

Depends on what you mean? It's not uncommon for a man to hold his wife down by the wrists. Is that wrong too...even if it enhances the act for her?
Please note, it's about sensory deprivation. The inability to move is the relinquishment of control, submission, to one's mate. Often it fulfills a very important need... a need to be surrendered to the one you love and trust.

I don't have the answers. I asked you why you draw that line there, between bondage and pain. What, to you, makes pain unacceptable, but restraint ok?
