This is the first thing that al-Wasimi said - "A homosexual who wants to ban religions..." That's why I took that as more an issue than what he said about Jesus. I think if Elton would have said anything else and not brought up "homosexuality", we probably wouldn't have heard as much of an outcry, JMO.
