But there are other days, when I believe He does exist, that He does care and He has some sort of plan.

Whether or not I think He exists, I almost always think of Him as Jesus, which I guess makes me a little tiny percentage oneness

We are all, by nature, wrong. The question is who is most right? Or, how wrong are we? A little humbling for sure.

I must say, I was under many impressions as a young Christian. One was, the Church is a place where failure is under control. Boy, was I wrong.

Bro Mullings (District Superintendent of California/Nevada) told me once; People are pathetic. He didn't mean it in a bad way, only in the sense of acknowledging the truth.

I think our demise in this area is that we expect too much out of people, failing in the area of mercy. We carry around our bag of rocks, waiting to pounce on those who stumble.
