Just like your mother is also a wife and sister. Doesn't mean she's three different people. Jesus said it plainly "the father and I are one".
But.... did your wife ever speak to your kids and say "This is YOUR Mother, with whom I am well pleased!"?

Re: Contradicting Revelations?

Randywayne Soldouttochrist and Timmy:

Here is what the starter of the thread asked:

What do you guys think of this? Did someone just misinterpret God's voice for something else? Is there any way that two people can have revelations from God that are completely contradictory and still be right to a degree
?

I answered the question to the best of my ability, Soldouttochrist I believe you asked "what do you guys think?". I told you exactly what I thought. Did you want to hear our opinion or not? Because I didn't voice a neutral opinion for fear of ruffling feathers does that make me judgmental or presumptuous? No. I would say I'm fairly intelligent which means I don't need to be schooled on the idea that biblical verses can be interpreted in a number of ways, and I'm not in the mood to get into a theological debate. Soldouttochrist, my apologies for not quoting a source. Just to show you I'm not in the habit of making up biblical verses, here your are: II Corinthians 11:14 and John 10:30.

Timmy:

Thank you for the welcome.

Friend, you completely misinterpreted my post. When saying, "the source?" I was responding to you saying "I say examine the source and their walk with god." I was merely saying that the source of the Trinitarian revelation is someone that seems pretty solid in their walk with God, not asking for you to cite your sources. As far as being judgmental or presumptuous, I said nothing of the sort. You stated your opinion, I responded with mine. That's the beauty of a discussion board. No harm intended.

Blessings in Christ.
