That is incredible! As gigantic as that seems, I think it would be awesome if the Lord gave such a huge family.

Well, Brother we are only here on the Lord's errand . Grandmother looks like she is doing a good job dress wise except we admonish against no stockings
and we also admonish against 3/4 length sleeves( we wear full sleeves) . Please do not misunderstand me we do not "bash people " as they come through the door with this. We also believe in long hair uncut hair worn modestly up accompanied with the material head covering.
Well all I can say is that your Grandmother would feel at home among us. May the Lord add His Blessing to these comments is my prayer.

Wow, you all are quite conservative! I agree the symbol in 1 Cor 11 is a material covering, with hair referenced to bolster the argument that women should be covered.
I am not sure about this being universal to all places and to our age/culture (though i well know the arguments for it).
BTW this is my mother on the slide. Perhaps I should not have posted such a personal picture, but the idea was to show her fun character - even at 70 plus. My grandmother went to be with the Lord a few years ago.

Thank the Lord we only endeavor to obey God ! And the Lord has blessed with quite a bit of musical talent . My cousin plays the Hammond b3 and can transpose anything . Needless to say He is the best organist I know , and I also have a music background most of the so-called Apostolic preachers around us would love to have our talent in their church , so they tell me . But they mock at us because of what we believe .

That is too bad. I would like to think I could fellowship in a fairly wide spectrum - from conservative to more liberal.
You have answered this in the past I think, but where are you folks located at?

This picture warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes. What an amazing culture and heritage. I'm sure you could sell this picture to a magazine. Thanks for posting! Incredible!!

This is the first time I've ever heard it inferred that a Mennonite was not conservative enough.
