I ate at the one in Sao Paulo, and then I ate with the Alvears at one in Maceio that was just as good. No, it was better - they had all you could eat lobster on the salad bar!!

Judah Smith and Christine Caine were two of my favorites...they were just incredible. I know Judah has a podcast and I'm pretty sure you can find Christine on there too.
Free Chapel church is one amazing church. I could not get over how all their youth are their guest services team...free lemonade when you got out under the awning, they have a full fledged restaurant in that church!!! Wowzers...I got lost...literally.
But the greatest thing for me was meeting Jentezen himself! It was awesome...we talked for a little while...I will post pics later!!
So, I recommend Forward...just sayin'

Judah is my favorite and Christine is a close 2nd. Glad you got to hear them both!!

I'm pretty sure Judah's church baptizes in Jesus' name. It's in Seattle.

Re: Forward Conference 2010
Yes, he does if I read his website right. They actually are very similar to you all and to us. I just really enjoyed his teaching/preaching. And if you listen to one of his podcasts, he preaches like 45 to 55 minutes! lol...I just really liked him...alot.
Christine was really good too...I really enjoyed her testimony and her raw approach to teaching/preaching! She was really anointed.

When Pastor Franklin baptizes - He says, "I now baptize you in the Name of the Father, The Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost."

compromise IMO
I've got more respect for someone who just baptizes in the titles than one who tries to make everyone happy.

Why a compromise? Is it because you view "the name" as a single expression? Or because you feel Father, Son & Holy Spirit have one official Name - "Jesus"?
Personally I don't see the compromise, but then I even as a Oneness person do not see the name of our heavenly Father as being the Son "Jesus".

I believe it to be undeniable that scripture is giving us the authority to baptize and we baptize in the name of, under the authority of God Almighty. However one says that, or if nothing is said at all, it is the act of baptism that is significant, not the recited words as someone is plunged.
I say, "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; In Jesus' Name", and I do it that way to call upon the fulness of the authority of God, not to make everyone happy.

Re: Forward Conference 2010
I followed Jentezen's Tweets about it. He would Tweet things like 'the first youth pastor to make it to the left side of the stage with forward written backward on your forehead wins a valuable prize. They were funny!
One thing is for sure that if I live in the Southeast and not the Southwest I would be going to The Forward Conference every year! Jentezen is one of my favs!
