If they had been alone, that would have been considered a "date", and then she really would have been accused of an affair! The fact that she was only accused of exhibitionism leads me to believe that she simply wore a bikini with another man present.

It's possible that she had "backslid".

And they may have been separated at the time, who knows.

Sitting next to a pool in a bikini is one thing; sleeping with a man who isn't your husband is quite another.

This woman wasn't accused of adultery--not even by the pastor or her husband. The best they could do was "exhibitionism" falling under the clause of fornication, which while I agree could be a point of contention between a man and his wife, is NOT cause for divorce.

It's most definitely not grounds for remarriage according to my conservative upbringing. It appears that Pastor Fogarty tried to justify his daughter's remarriage on the grounds of fornication, but calling this fornication is quite a stretch.
