1 John 5:20

20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

God{Spirit} was in {Christ}flesh..2 cor 5:19

Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

AMEN..the Son of God came to make known and reveal His God and Father to us!
You seen him you seen the exact representation of His Father and God,Jesus revealed what God was like,his nature,attributes etc..The Messiah was foretold and no where in the OT did they think He would be God himself..

Deu 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. Deu 18:19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Joh 12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

It was all about getting to the Father!

Christ came in the flesh but the anointing was not in the flesh, it was in the Spirit. Many people can't make that distinction. (Not saying u can't) Jesus was the mouth piece of the Eternal Spirit that dwelled in His spirit.

When Jesus was making himself "Equal" with God it simply meant that he was Spirit led (A son of God,) Jews didn't have that capability because they knew they were dead in sin. Well some of them did...

No the scripture actually says, "God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself."

God is the anointing, not flesh...

I agree that God is the anointing. But that isn't what you have said in your posts. The question was... What (does) God in Christ mean. You answered God in the anointing.

That statements logical conclusion is ... Christ is the anointing.

Now... Christ IS the anointed one... but, in essence, you have stated with your answers that Christ is the anointing.

Please review your answers and let us know what you are saying because you are contradicting yourself.

Christ (flesh) is the anointing because God was in Christ and you state that God was IN the anointing ergo Christ (flesh) is the anointing.

Then you contradict yourself by stating...
God is the anointing... not flesh (which I agree with by the way)

The logical conclusion from your first answer is...
Christ (flesh) is anointing.
Your second statement is...
God is the anointing... not flesh.

So we don't even have a conversation here until you can clear up for us what your intended statement is/was.
