Oh, yeah! The Burkha Babes! I wish I still had that poem.
I've written very little in the last few years. I thought about writing my UPC story, but I'd have to get ready to be killed.

You used to tell me that too though, Ferd, when I was trying to heal. Now, I'm pretty much over it.

When my son tells me I am not being fair, I tell him: "if life was a fair you would be a bearded lady!" Get over it. Life isn’t fair.
I mean someone has to tell you whiners to get over it or all you will do is sit here and commiserate.
You may consider me the heavy hand of sympathy.

Maybe that's witty, but I don't get it. I never said life was "a fair."
If you have a negative opinion of those who, for whatever reason, feel the need to express themselves and in the process of expressing themselves, emit opinions that are contrary to yours, then really...too bad. You'll just have to put your big boy pants on and deal with it.
I see more whining going on here by you than mostly anyone else. Your level of understanding and tolerance for those who aren't like you or haven't traveled your path, or haven't arrived at the same conclusion you did, is non-existent. It's completely unrealistic to expect everyone to deal with adversity like you have. That is unfair. So make snappy remarks about life not being fair, but you're not being realistic by expecting everyone to be just like you.

Sounds like I'm glad I missed that. I remember Chance, but I usually went right past his posts!

JMO and general observation, but the whiners/incessant ranters usually come across as more caustic in their posts than the ones whining against the whiners/ranters.

It was in reference to how unworthy we all were and usually went along with a comparison to those items...

Fair....now there is a concept.
When one of our children says the phrase, "That's not fair", at our house, we employ a strategy called "Fair Day". Goes like this...
Oh, so you want everything to be fair. Ok, so now that you are grounded, everyone else will be grounded.
Of course, then the others who are not guilty are more likely to hold the one that is accountable, and we do not have repeat incidents. Now that we have done it, all we have to do is threaten Fair Day, and no problem, we never have to implement it again...oh, and we seldom hear the phrase "It's Not Fair" anymore.
Fair to wax an entire org because you had a problem with some in it?
Hmmm.....

I think if you look from the left, the right looks tilted and vice versa. I've been on both sides and argued both sides and felt the same way from both sides. Actually, it was when I realized that that I realized I needed to take a look at myself and how I was communicating. It wasn't productive.

Well, Chance was a little, uh, extreme on many things.
