Some trinitarians believe OP's are not saved and some OP's believe trinitarians are not saved either. Well, I believe trinitarians are born again according to
1 John 5:1. I recognize not everyone agrees with this, but so be it.
Moroever, the bible says God gives the Holy Ghost to them that obey Him, and I know trinitarians definitely experience the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. (So who is obeying God, OP's or trinitarians?) In fact, when the Holy Ghost outpouring occured in the early 20th century, the receipients were largely trinitarian. However, God continued to reveal more light on His word (case in point: Godhead and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (not titles) and no doubt,
we ought to walk in the light of the word He has revealed).
But, how is it that trinitarians whom some consider lost are going about preaching Jesus Christ? I can't understand how a lost person can be so passionate about bringing people to Jesus Christ (I just can't buy it)
What I am trying to say is that we have to be able to separate individuals from doctrine. Many trinitarians believe Jesus is the Almighty God, but their understanding of it is dicey. I would however not fellowship with a group that DOES NOT believe Jesus is God.
I also go to the trinity church knowing the God I serve. It is an individual affair. Jesus alone (not man) saved me. Whether others see Him the way I do is of no consequence...I know whom I have believed, I know I have eternal life through Jesus Christ, and the Spirit bears witness with my spirit that I am a child of God
I have to admit, when phrases like "Holy Trinity" come up in church, I get a queasy feeling in my stomach...lol
