Your rhetoric is base and there's really nothing I need to add to the self-image you create with your own hate-speech. I care deeply, with all my heart, about the Bible, the express Word of God, and your foolish jesting about burning it strikes pain in my heart. How you can claim any love or reverence for the bible and The Christ that is revealed through it, while joking about burning it, just to make a political point about a president, is beyond disgusting. Shame on you!

That's silly. Why must everything be an Obama bash session. The same people cried about Bush getting blamed for everything... yet they play the same game!
#1 If a story that creates national interest stirs about an Imam in America announcing a Christian Bible burning, please let me know.
#2 The Christian Bible, by most Christians, is not looked at as a spiritual relic as the Quran is to Muslims. Thus, you are not even close to apples-to-apples.
#3 Obviously, this pastor was a whack job and intentionally trying to be provocative.

Who burned? What was the point? Why do you think it didn't stir national interest? Because the majority of Americans don't care? A conspiracy against Christians?

It's pages, ink and bound leather. It's not an idol, or an object of spiritual significance. It's words have a message, and in them is LIFE. That's the distinction.

Re: Burn a bible
It is insignificant to me if someone wants to burn Bibles. The malice towards God that would be behind such an action makes me sad for the person harboring it, but as far as the Bibles themselves, I have His Word hidden in my heart. We're talking about printed paper. It's insignificant to me.

Very well said.
The concept that one of them should be burned just to make an anti-Obama point, is repulsive to me. "Hate Obama" has been added as one of the fundamental Christian tenants. It gets really old.

As his New Testament had been pirated for various unsatisfactory editions, he published a revision in 1534, with a third, revised edition in 1535. In 1535, however, he was seized by the local government authorities in Antwerp, where he was living, for being a propagator of heresy. After months of imprisonment and many theological disputations he was condemned in August 1536 for persistence in heresy, and in October he was strangled to death and his body publicly cremated.

Now you drag Obama into the argument. Do you know why you do that?
Do you worship him and see activist activities as a threat to der Leader?
