No doubt! We moved to our present city in 1950. Just had my 11th birthday.
The end of Sept. will be 60 yrs. We returned for 8 yrs to our hometown, some
60 miles away, one way.
In 1958, my parents began a small work in a small storefront building. My late
father worked for 18 yrs., to support his large family of a wife and eleven
children. I am the eldest daughter, having one older brother.
I had graduated from high school in 1957 and was working. Received the Holy
Ghost the summer of 1958. Married in 1959. We have been here from day one.
Connected to the original plant. Sat under my late father's pastorship for over
30 yrs. Helped Dad and Mom nurture and mother the church along with raising
our children together. Today, Dad and Mom have gone out of sight and we
remain. Our six adult children (three sons and three daughters) all married to
their original spouses, all have been baptized in Jesus Name, received the Holy
Ghost, speaking with tongues. We and five of our six adult children, and 17 of
our 21 grandchildren worship together regularly in the place of refuge Dad built
to the saving of his own house. A brother and sister also and a niece and nep-
hew also attend with their families.
One son, his wife and their four children, attend in a neighboring apostolic
church.
We remain where God planted us over 50 yrs ago. Our roots are untouched.
This "plant" which the Father planted, has never split or been uprooted. To
God be the glory.
