The Royal Bank has a plan to retire called "Freedom 55!"
However due to increasing costs such as Gas, Housing, and changes in Government policy so there is no more mandatory retirement age, I belong to the "Freedom 85 Group!"

I LOVE THIS!!!
The Purple Hat!
Age 3 She looks at herself and sees a Queen
Age 8 She looks at herself and sees Cinderella
Age 15 She looks at herself and sees an Ugly Sister. Mum, I can’t go to school looking like this!
Age 20 She looks at herself and sees “too fat/too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly” – fixes herself the best she can, but decides she’s going out anyway.
Age 30 She looks at herself and sees “too fat/too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly” – but decides she doesn’t have time to fix it so she’s going out anyway.
Age 40 she looks at herself and sees “too fat/too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly” – but says, “at least, I am clean and goes out anyway.
Age 50 She looks at herself and sees “I am” and goes wherever she wants to go.
Age 60 She looks at herself and reminds herself of all the people who can’t even see themselves in the mirror anymore. Goes out and conquers the world.
Age 70 She looks at herself and sees wisdom, laughter and ability, goes out and enjoys life.
Age 80 Doesn’t bother to look. Just puts on a purple hat and goes
out to have fun with the world.
Maybe we should all grab that purple hat earlier. Where is your purple hat hiding?

Hey Renda... Walmart in Corinth had Purple hats with red ribbons, and red hats with purple ribbons the other day. Want me to pick you up one the next time I go?
*Ducking out of the thread before Renda throws something at her*

There are positive things about being 50, although I have been going where I wanted to go since I turned 40...late bloomer I guess! Or early one...depends on how you look at it!

Oh, don't be offended by that....
...they go strictly by physical appearance.

I remember when I was about 20 or so my grandmother got me an AAA card.
I think after a year they sent me another one and it was for a 50 year member....of course my grandparents had it that long or longer...I don't recall if I got any perks. But I do remember using it one time and the tow driver looked at me funny
