Chris Christie handles a heckler

I enjoyed it, and he has a point. Out of all the articles I read on him, he seems to be a decent guy.

Re: Chris Christie handles a heckler

Not sure that was a good move by Christie... made it look like he was standing up for the woman....

But I gotta say, the heckler looked like he felt stupid. They aren't used to being confronted.

It did look like he was standing up for the woman, which some might construe as sexist.

However, I still enjoyed it. The heckler definitely was not expecting everyone to be cheering against him towards the end, and it showed on his face.

Some might construe it as weakness in the original speaker if she is to be a serious candidate. I understand what he did, but it may have been better to have given her the opportunity to fight her own battle.

I'm a bit confused about the "if you're going to yell at anyone, yell at me" statement. Wasn't he a guest there. It would make more sense if this were in his stae and the speaker was a visitor. Just my opinion.

I felt a unity between the two and largely a unity between the two states when Christie stood up for her. It was like a big brother standing in between his sister and a bully - Kudos to Christie. I hope she wants to govern after his example. I don't know enough about her.

I understand what he did. I'm just saying that if I were her campaign manager, I would not want the image of a little sister running for Governor of a state like California. You want people to realize that someone at that level of leadership is capable to handle his or her own bullies....unless of course you can convince Californians that Christie will always be there to fight for her.

That was his motivation, Stew. It was an awesome display of unity. Feel the politics, breath the politics, relish the politics, let it seep into your mind and soul!

It was clearly a good move. It was reported to be a chavinist move? If you are chauvinistic I guess.

The heckler was just another angry plant. Yes the heckler looked stupid.

I recall a union leader in Christi's state sent members a memo wishing him to be dead. That puts him into context.
