The angels rejoice over one who REPENTS, not someone speaking in tongues. Some folks doctrine has angels rejoicing over the lost.
Good grief, Jason. We know that anyone that receives the Holy Ghost has repented.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2 KJV
As someone who was actually there, let me make a few observations:
1. I am glad to see the type of evangelism service that we had on Sunday Night in any Apostolic organization. I am glad for the results.
2. There were thousands of unsaved people there as a result of a very exhaustive outreach effort on the part of many local churches (mine included)
3. The numbers do not seem out of line with what I observed.
4. We had people who attend our church receive the Holy Ghost for the first time in this service.
5. I fully believe that the impact of what took place in this service will be seen in the natural and spiritual realm in my city.
Feel free to crucify me for my observations

The first three posts are great...the last...well I am again lost.
Assumptions play a vital part in creative thinking...Coadie must have confused his posts for mine. Not sure anyone has every claimed Coadie thinks inside the box.
Maybe he will do another emoticon story to try and explain. We can only hope.
Well, I for one, want to go on record and say that I'm thankful for the report from General Conference. Even if the numbers are inflated, there were still lots of people baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. For that, I'm grateful!
I don't believe it was the biggest outpouring in the history of America, but I do believe they had a great outpouring. Wherever God shows up, I'm thankful!
