That's what I was referring to, Mr. Gutter-Dweller.
And by the way, by the time I get on this morning, you people have run off and left with my thread and I'm TEN PAGES behind. I HATE that!!!!
Oh well, that's the price I have to pay for being interesting.

I thought that name calling was against the rules on this forum....oops...i guess that only applies to certain people.
...and anybody with half a brain knows what you were insinuating....

And saying someone has "half a brain" is what?

What i do see is that a study was done. The stats are there on hiv and there are studies on this issue that don't even relate to the military. Look at the issue of the "down low". It's just a growing issue and a huge health risk.
So, logically, if we want a strong military, we need to avoid any weakness. Especially any weakness we know can be avoided. Because of that, i feel that being gay is not compatible with the military. It's a health risk all around and doesn't only include the financial end of it.
Your posts show how far we have come in our political correctness. We can't even view things with a moral objective anymore. We call it "homophobia" with no moral logic applied. We aren't allowed to apply christian principles and i find that very sad. You call that living in a "bubble". Too sad. I remember a day when "divorce" was only a by-word. Now everything is prevalent and accepted.
anyway, i rarely read or post much. i have so many good things going on in my life right now. I don't want to be distracted by negativity and rudeness, which isn't hard to find here. Lol!

Dead-eye, of all the people here I don't like, you're definitely in the top 10....when I bother to care, that is. But in a moment of all-out seriousness, completely from the bottom of my heart, with my left hand on the bible, my right hand in the air, and putting my eternal soul on the line....
That is NOT what I was insinuating AT ALL, in any way whatsoever. If that had crossed my mind at all, I wouldn't have posted it because I don't believe that's fair to do that to anyone.
If you don't believe that, fine. But I was referring to Baron's thread and when the forum was down for a day.

Seems we agree on far more than we disagree.

I'm just saying that we are at a place where it can be detrimental to point out anything these days because we have settled so much on "right of privacy". It's almost as though we have given the green light that anything goes, as long as you keep it private. Sort of like a Nike ad - Just Do It! LOL!
|
It's always been like that. It was like that back in ancient Rome. John the Baptist lost his head for condemning the incestuous marriage of the king. Goes with the territory if one is a Christian.

Anyway, I'm not trying to fix anything because I can't. I'm just rambling. It's just a digression that is sad, but we remember "where sin does abound, grace does also much more abound."
|
I understand, I ramble a bit too. lol

I was also thinking of how Oprah was sued by the meat industry for saying that the mad cow disease made her not want to eat another hamburger. Six years later, she wins the lawsuit. It's a crazy world.
Okay, thanks. I like to know little details.

Yep, it's a crazy world. lol

Indeed, I thrive in that environment. I am deeply inspired when the body ministers to one another.
