Re: Fired for speaking the truth
http://bigjournalism.com/wthuston/20...rters-for-npr/
Convicted felon George Soros is buying NPR news reporters.
Quote:
|
The left-wing Open Society Foundations is donating the large sum to NPR for a project being called “Impact of Government.” The project is planning to add at least 100 reporters across the country to cover local state house politics to fill the holes left by the firing of so many local reporters due to the contraction in the field of journalism over the last decade.
|
Quote:
Ms. Schiller said the journalists would not be part of typical statehouse coverage, but instead would work on enterprise journalism that looks at how state government decisions play out over years, and extend beyond a single state’s borders.
What exactly does “enterprise journalism” mean? This sure smacks of agenda journalism as opposed to mere reporting, doesn’t it? And even if that isn’t the intent, the rhetoric here is suspicious.
But what makes this all even more suspicious is the source of the $1.8 million donation. The Open Society Foundations was founded by well-known anti-American George Soros. Yet, nowhere in the news is this made clear to readers.
|
So Soros can dictate coverage.

Re: Fired for speaking the truth
Juan Williams is a national figure.
He is responsible for what he says and he doesn't says-- as an adult, as a national figure, and as a contributor to NPR.
His remarks justify the prejudice that many Muslims face in this country. Regardless of how he felt, his verbalizing of that blatant prejudice codifies that blatant prejudice that is harmful to the innocent Muslims and to our society.
It's like, "Juan Williams feels this way so I'm not so far off in being prejudiced against Muslims-- man everyone knows those Muslims are just so violent and ready to blow everything up. I don't want them sitting next to me either!"
Basically, Juan Williams advocated prejudice, in thought and in action, against Americans just because of their religion.
I used to like Juan Williams.
I am glad he was fired.

Re: Fired for speaking the truth
The hypocrisy of Barack Obama knows no limits.
As you may remember, Obama yesterday chastised his own grandmother for being afraid of blacks:
I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.

Jesse Jackson is traveling the country with a tough anti-crime message that he is delivering to inner-city youngsters. In Chicago he said, "There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery -- then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved.

4 Why would the left wing nazis have "feelings" about what was ok to say on Fox and what was not? It ain't their network
5 If the leftiests have rules about feelings, why are Juan's feelings rejected?
6 NPR doesn't set editorial standards on Fox.
This makes the leftist PC media look stupid.
Two faced liberals. Drinking the millions from Soros.

Consider this edit a thumbsup for all your posts in this thread.
Soros is at work, he's buying up everything he can to subvert this country.
Sadly, the sheeple won't look enough into this to realize what is going on.

So your dangerous political position says that if an employee says something away from work that is not politically correct, you are glad he was fired.
You are very closed minded.
He didn't advocate prejudice at all. he just said what he "felt".

I am EXTREMELY suspicious of "Sandie". No one in the history of AFF has ever agreed with or complimented Coadie. I think "Sandie" is "Coadie". The two names have the same number of letters and both end in "ie."
Something's fishy, here. No one thinks Coadie's posts are good!
