I gotta admit, I think that one is going to stick. I am going to use that one on new visitors at church!

Can you imagine?? The greeter staff hands the visitor a bulletin, "Hello, welcome to First Church! We're so glad you're here but we don't condone your sin!"

I am also curious about your anonymous screen name. Interesting choice for a celibate homosexual.

I see you googled the name. I wondered if someone would do that. No deep purpose in choosing the screen name really. Picking the name Azzan had less to do with it's meaning 'strength' and more with the fact that I liked it.
As to my comment about being more effective. My reason for hiding my gender is as Kayl guessed, I feel it eliminates bias.

Oh I do understand the not wanting folks biased and the anonymity thing, I too was anonymous at one time.
My question is about you being "effective" here on AFF. If all was perfect for you here, what would be the desired outcome. What effect are you hoping to have on those dialogging here?

Then there are the times you dress in drag as Emma.

For some stupid reason, when I first signed on here, I assumed everyone was a "He". I really don't know why, except that maybe I thought most ladies wouldn't be that loud-mouthed and rude. Evidently, some are.
