It was something like that, and it was towards the end. I was pretty disappointed in Martin at that point. If I remember right, Martin kept asking the questions, "Am I or am I not your brother in Christ?" but when Urshan posed it back to him Martin said "If you deny the existance of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit you are not my brother in Christ." I may not have that exactly right, but that's what I remember. I'll have to check it tonight. At that point I decided they were both childish and the whole thing was pointless because they were both acting like children. "You can't be in my club unless you ____!"

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Sorry, but it's the truth.

There's no hostility here, just an honest evaluation of what it really is.

And by the way, it appears as though you're new here at AFF and I, for one, just want to say that I'm glad you're here!
Yes, I'm new here and thanks so much for the kind welcome.
Guess we just have a differing view of "spewing", anyway the only real spewing I'm concerned about is the one Jesus talks about! yikes

It would be kind of a stupid point to challenge a person to call you a brother if you couldn't do the same to them. One would only be pointing out his own exclusivity.
Exactly why I was so disgusted with it. I can't access youtube right now but I'll look it up tonight.

I couldn't agree more, although, Urshan looked completely out of his league and I felt sorry for him. Martin knew how to fight and Urshan didn't...at least, not face to face.

I think Martin was saying that if one doesn't believe in the existence of the three, not necessarily, the co-existence. I suppose on that technicality, I'd agree with him.
