And what are the motives behind it? Are you truly concerned about their soul - or are you more concerned about how their "sin" reflects on you - as their pastor, leader, parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling, child, etc etc.

I've often heard it preached that Jesus called the scribes and Pharisees vipers and whited sepulchers, and that He was simply preaching the truth, and that they are doing no less. However, Jesus never turned a Nicodemus away. The people He called vipers and whited sepulchers were lording it over others, hurting many people by misrepresenting God. They were not honest people who made mistakes or said, "look, I have a problem. I want to change, but I don't know how." He also never directed the labels at any one individual.
Let's help each other rather than pulling our robes close around us, shutting our eyes to the wounded, closing our ears to their cries, and passing by on the other side. Only then will we be obeying the second great commandment, to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Real love is to love them in spite of who or what they are. Jesus loves us that way.
He loved us as filthy sinners enough to die for us.

Why not try and get to know the Jesus of the Bible?
In that Holy Book Jesus said to do unto others the way you would want others to do unto you.
I don't know Hebrew or Greek, so maybe I'm missing where He put a qualifier on that lesson.
Maybe He said to do unto others... except for_________? Fill in the blank will you, please?
