They load the helicopters and motorcade into Air Force cargo planes. Air Force one is accompanied by refueling aircraft and will make the trip non stop.

The plane also is escorted by fighter jets.

And, I agree there probably won't be a big to-do announcement of what he's spending - - if you were President in these times would you really want everyone to know how much you were wasting of their money?

Saw a special of what all is involved when Air Force One takes flight - - it was very, very interesting!
