Hopefully, one day we'll get an administration and congress that will actually address these issues.
Policies that are friendly towards small businesses and corporations, lower taxes and the abscence of unions will at least help.
I don't even pretend to have the answers for the complexities of these issues.
But, the few things I've mentioned, put into practice will at least help create new jobs for people like your sister and my husband's fellow workers.

I read where God blessed Abraham. what would he have done if the democrats and unions came after him? It is almost like the left thinks God is wrong and they have to snag the blessing and redistribute it.

I've heard it said that in Ezekiel 46:18 nobody is to take by oppression what God has given another.

Nobody has the right to take 30, 40, 50 percent and more from someone who has worked hard to earn their paycheck. God doesn't require that much if one adheres to the tithe.
It's highway robbery to take that much from one person and redistribute it.
